How does Care.com work?
After you register and select a subscription level you’ll have access to all the tutor listings on Care.com. A basic subscription is free, but only gives limited access to tutor profiles. After subscribing you’ll be able to search for local tutors by ZIP code and subject or, if you like, narrow your search by specifying preferences for tutor’s age, gender, hourly rate, specific location, years of experience or availability. Tutor profiles contain detailed information, and often include video profiles. A paid subscription to Tutor.com allows access to background checks and references, and you can send emails to tutors through the website.
